Outdoor Home Decor Favorites: Rugs, Pillows, and Lounge Chairs

One of the easiest things you can do to bring an outdoor space together is to add a rug.

Using a rug on a wooden deck, or even on concrete, it brings the conversation space and furniture together while also making the outdoor space more comfortable.

When choosing an outdoor rug, it is important to consider the location. If you are rug shopping for a space that is in a protected area, where there is not a lot of moisture, you could opt for a fancier outdoor rug, investing a bit more money. Here are a few of my favorites at a higher price point but with stellar style.

In areas where the summer climate is damp, wet, and humid, I will choose a lightly woven rug that can withstand some weather, rain, and one that will dry quickly. In this situation, I would consider finding a more budget friendly solution for these more “exposed” areas. At the end of the summer if I have to say “goodbye” to my summer rug because of the season’s wear, I want to make sure I am comfortable with making another investment next year.
